Yokohama [town] - Yokohama
A town in the center of the Shimokita Peninsula, Kamikita District, Aomori Prefecture. Facing Mutsu Bay to the west, the Ominato Line runs through the town. The town is often subject to cold damage caused by Yamase (an easterly wind). In addition to scallop farming and other fishing, the town also produces rice and potatoes. A flower festival is held in May. Area: 126.38 km2 . Population: 4,881 (2010).

青森県上北郡，下北半島中央部の町。西は陸奥(むつ)湾に面し，大湊(おおみなと)線が通じる。〈やませ〉（偏東風）による冷害を受けることが多い。ホタテの養殖などの漁業を行うほか，米，ジャガイモを産する。５月には花の祭りが開催される。126.38km2。4881人（2010）。
