One of the founders of the Ryukyu pottery industry. He was brought to Satsuma (Kagoshima Prefecture) during the Bunroku-Keicho War. In 1616, he was sent to Ryukyu with his colleague Ichiroku (Nakachi Reishin) and the three officials to teach pottery making.
