Born in 1715. Daughter of Iseya Aburaya Heiemon, a merchant in Kyobashi, Edo. A disciple of Kamo no Mabuchi, she was one of the three talented women of the prefecture along with Udono Yonoko and Toki Tsukubako. She died on July 18, 1762, at the age of 20. Her given name was Yayoko or Ikuko. Her surname was also Yumiya or Aburaya. Her family anthology includes the work "Ayanuno".
