Ursula

Japanese: ウルスラ(英語表記)Ursula
Ursula
A saint. According to legend, she was the daughter of a 4th or 5th century Britannian king. She was beautiful and intelligent, and one of her many suitors, a pagan prince, offered her the condition that she convert to Christianity and be allowed to go on a pilgrimage to Rome for three years accompanied by 11,000 maids. The prince accepted, and she traveled to Rome with her maids, but on the way back they were attacked by the Huns in Cologne. The maids were killed, and Ursula herself was martyred with three arrows to her chest. Later, 11,000 angels appeared and drove away the Huns.
