Japanese: 増穂[町] - ますほ

A former town in Minamikoma District, western Yamanashi Prefecture. The eastern part is a lowland on the right bank of the Fuji River at the southwestern edge of the Kofu Basin, with the main settlement of Aoyagi along National Route 52. Fruit trees are cultivated, and rice and shiitake mushrooms are also produced. Industries include hosiery and electronic parts. The town is accessed by the Chubu-Odan Expressway. In March 2010, it merged with Kajikazawa Town, Minamikoma District, to form Fujikawa Town, Minamikoma District. Area: 65.17 ^km2 . Population: 13,111 (2005).

山梨県西部，南巨摩(みなみこま)郡の旧町。東部は甲府盆地南西端にあたる富士川右岸の低地で，国道52号線に沿う主集落青柳(あおやぎ)がある。果樹栽培を行い，米，シイタケも産する。メリヤス，電子部品などの工業もある。中部横断自動車道が通じる。2010年３月南巨摩郡鰍沢町と合併，南巨摩郡富士川町となる。65.17km²。１万3111人（2005）。
