A daughter of Emperor Korei who appears in the Kojiki and Nihonshoki. Her mother was Yamato no Kuni Kahime. According to the "Nihon Shoki," in the 7th year of the reign of Emperor Sujin, she conveyed messages from Omononushi no Kami of Mount Miwa, and in the 10th year, predicted a rebellion by Takehaniyasuhiko no Mikoto. She later married Omononushi no Kami, but was shocked to find out that he was actually a small snake, which angered her husband. When she sat down in regret, she stabbed herself in the genitals with chopsticks and died. Her grave is called Hashihaka. Another name for her is Yamatototohime no Mikoto.
