Lumped lava - kaijoyogan
A type of lava flow. It is made up of a collection of polyhedral blocks of roughly the same size with smooth surfaces. It develops characteristically at the tip of a thick, highly viscous lava flow, and takes on a talus shape. It is common in andesitic lava, and typical examples can be seen in the Sakurajima volcano and the Onioshidashi volcano on Mount Asama.

溶岩流の形態の一種。平滑な表面をもつほぼ同じ大きさの多面体の岩塊の集合からなる。粘性の大きな厚い溶岩流の先端部に特徴的に発達し,崖錐状を呈する。安山岩質溶岩に多く,桜島火山,浅間山の鬼押出しに典型的な例がみられる。
