Aquarium - aquarium

Aquarium - aquarium

It refers to a container for keeping aquatic organisms, or an aquarium.

(1) Breeding tank Any container that can hold water will do, but it is common to use transparent materials such as glass or acrylic resin so that the creatures being raised in the tank can be easily seen. In the past, many commercially available products were made of glass attached with putty to a stainless steel frame, but recently, tanks made entirely of glass or acrylic resin and bonded with silicone resin have become mainstream. The most common shape of aquariums is a long rectangle, but spherical, cylindrical, and other irregular shapes can also be made depending on the purpose. A heater, cooler, and filtration/circulation device are required to keep the water temperature and quality inside the tank constant.

(2) Aquariums These are facilities equipped with numerous large and small breeding tanks and equipment for maintaining the environment within the tanks, and which open the ecology of aquatic organisms to the public. They also conduct research on the classification, ecology, and water quality maintenance of aquatic animals.
