[1] 〘Noun〙① A stirrup produced in Musashi Province. Also, a stirrup modeled on that style. While tsubo-abumi (stirrup with a rib) and hand-tongued-abumi (stirrup with a rib) are attached to the hook by a chain to the saddle, this stirrup does not use a rib but is made of a perforated iron plate with a sashiga (sagara ) at the end and is used as a hook directly. Since the sashiga (sagara) is built into the end of the stirrup, it is used in waka poetry as "sagara" (sagara), and since stirrup is stepped on, it is used as "fum" (fumi) and "fumi" (stamp) . ※Tales of Ise (before the 10th century), chapter 13 "Musashi abumi sagara kakedake tokino ni ha no nu mo tsurashito fumourusashi"② A perennial plant of the Araceae family. It grows in forests near the coasts of Kanto and west, Shikoku, and Kyushu. It grows 30-60 centimeters tall. Two thick leaves emerge from an underground corm. The leaves are trifoliate compound. Each leaflet is broadly elliptical and 20-30 centimeters long. In May, it produces a fleshy spike with a rounded tip, surrounded by dark purple stirrup-shaped bracts.
