An ancient culture of Mesopotamia. Named after the Ubaid ruins in southern Iraq. It precedes the Uruk culture, and was the first widespread, unified culture in Mesopotamia between 4500 and 3500 BCE. Temple architecture with a platform made of sun-dried bricks, the use of the wheel, and in some places seals and copperware appeared, and the beginnings of the formation of city-states can be seen. →Related Articles Susa|Tel Sarasat Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
