Born in the 9th year of Tenpyo. Prince Enoi's son. Grandson of Prince Shikino. In the 11th year of Hoki (780), he became a councilor. In the 15th year of Enryaku (17), he became Dainagon (chief councilor), and in the 17th year of Enryaku (1801), he became Minister of the Right, and reached the rank of Junior Second Rank. He supported the reign of Emperor Kanmu together with King Ichino. He died on April 24, 25th year of Enryaku (1802). He was 70 years old.
