A hot spring in Hakone-machi, Kanagawa Prefecture. Located at the northern foot of Mt. Asama, the new outer rim of the crater, it is one of the ancient Seven Hot Springs of Hakone, and in the 17th century there were 11 hot springs. It is a weak salt spring. 23-97°C. It is the transportation hub of the Hakone mountains, and is served by the Hakone Tozan Railway, and there are buses from Odawara, Kojiri, and Motohakone. 神奈川県箱根町の温泉。新期外輪山の浅間(せんげん)山北麓にあり，古来の箱根七湯の一つで，17世紀には11ヵ所の湯坪があった。弱食塩泉。23〜97℃。箱根山中の交通の中心で箱根登山鉄道が通じ，小田原，湖尻，元箱根からのバスがある。富士箱根伊豆国立公園に属する。
