A hot spring in Hakone-machi, Kanagawa Prefecture. Located at the northern foot of Mt. Asama, the new outer rim of the crater, it is one of the ancient Seven Hot Springs of Hakone, and in the 17th century there were 11 hot springs. It is a weak salt spring. 23-97°C. It is the transportation hub of the Hakone mountains, and is served by the Hakone Tozan Railway, and there are buses from Odawara, Kojiri, and Motohakone.
