A tayu of Miyakoji-bushi. (1) The first: Date of birth and death unknown. A senior disciple of Miyakoji Bungo-no-jo. Background and other details unknown. (2) The second (?-1785 (Tenmei 5)): Real name Kinoka Mitsuyoshi. Called Heigo. A disciple of the first. Formerly named Kadayu. He succeeded the second after the death of the first, but changed his name to Miyazono Buzen around 1762 (Horeki 12), and in 1766 (Meiwa 3) he changed it to Miyazono Ranpoken, and founded Miyazono-bushi. Although he never performed in theaters, he seems to have been a leader of Kunidayu-bushi (Bungo-bushi), which was popular in the Kamigata region at the time. 宮古路節の太夫。(1)初世 生没年不詳。宮古路豊後掾の高弟。経歴その他不詳。(2)2世(?‐1785(天明5)) 本名木岡光義。平呉と号する。初世の弟子。前名家太夫。初世の没後2世を継いだが,1762年(宝暦12)ころ宮薗豊前と改名,さらに66年(明和3)宮薗鸞鳳軒(らんぽうけん)と改め,宮薗節を創始した。劇場出演はなかったが,当時上方で盛んだった国太夫節(豊後節)の統領的存在であったらしい。美声で作詞・作曲に優れ,多くの作品を書いたが,現在10段が残されている。
