A town in Mikata County facing Wakasa Bay in the southwest of Fukui Prefecture. The town is centered around Kawaraichi and Goichi on the Mimikawa alluvial fan, and is along the Wakasa Kaido (National Route 27), Obama Line, and Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway. Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries are thriving. Kugushihama is a swimming beach and is part of Wakasa Bay Quasi-National Park. The Kansai Electric Power Company's Mihama Nuclear Power Plant is located in the Nyu area of the Tsuruga Peninsula. In 2005, the Mikata Five Lakes became a Ramsar Convention registered wetland. 152.35 ^km2 . Population: 10,563 (2010).

A town in Chita County, southern Chita Peninsula, Aichi Prefecture. Kowa on the east coast is the center of the town, and spinning and fishing are carried out here. The Meitetsu Kowa Line and the Chita New Line pass through the town. Cape Fugu on the west coast and the area around Noma Daibo (Omidoji Temple), where Minamoto no Yoshitomo's grave is located, are part of the Mikawa Bay Quasi-National Park. Area: ^{46.20 km2} . Mihama [town] [Mihama]

A town in Hidaka district facing the Pacific Ocean in western Wakayama Prefecture. It is mainly engaged in rice cultivation, but vegetable cultivation is also popular. It is also famous as a tourist destination, with Enjugahama in the east, Mio, also known as "Amerikamura," and Hinomisaki. There is a bus service from Gobo city in the east. ^{12.77 km2} . 8,077 people (2010).
