A collection of laws from the Muromachi Shogunate. It contains wall inscriptions related to the Muromachi Shogunate's Mandokoro. There is a version included in Gunsho Ruiju that contains 12 articles from 1430 (Eikyou 2) to 66 (Bunsho 1), and a copy in the Imperial Household Agency Archives and Mausolea Department that adds four more articles. The Gunsho Ruiju version has a colophon stating that it is based on a copy owned by Ninagawa Chikafumi, a descendant of the Ninagawa clan, the Shogunate's deputy steward of the Mandokoro. In fact, it is noteworthy that it is very closely related to copies of laws in the Ninagawa Family Documents. There are no original laws that exist only in this book, but it is useful for collation with other versions. Source: Heibonsha World Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition Information |
