[Died] 208 BC. A soldier and politician from the Claudius family of ancient Rome near Venusia. He served as consul five times. During his consulship, he commanded the Roman army and achieved many feats, earning him the nickname "Sword of Rome." In 214 BC, during the Second Punic War, he attacked Syracuse, and although he struggled due to Archimedes's strategy, he took it after a two-year siege. During his fifth consulship, he fought Hannibal and was killed in battle while scouting the enemy situation.

[Died] 46 BC. Piraeus. A Roman politician from the Claudian family. Leader of the optimates. Opposed Julius Caesar and supported Pompey during the civil war. After the death of Pompey (Pompey the Elder), he fled to Greece to study. He was pardoned in 46 BC with the support of M. Cicero, but was killed by his subordinates. He was known for his eloquence and fortitude.

[Died] 23 BC, Baiae. A military man from the Claudius family of ancient Rome. Son of Octavia, the elder sister of Emperor Augustus. Married Augustus' daughter Julia in 25 BC. He was expected to have a bright future, but died suddenly while serving as aedile. Augustus himself gave a memorial speech. Virgil also praised him.
