This Jain cave temple was built in the 2nd to 1st century BCE, northwest of Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India. It is the eastern hill of two opposing hills, the western hill being called Khandagiri. It is a monastery-style temple, but what is noteworthy is the sculptures, which show a distinctive regional style, rather than the cave itself.
