A breed of horse used for riding and racing. It was developed in the 17th to mid-19th centuries by crossing oriental horse breeds with native British horses, and then crossing mares with Godolphin Barbs, Darley Arabian, and Byerley Turks. It stands 160 cm tall and weighs about 480 kg.
