[1] 〘名〙① 松の梢を吹く風。松の梢に当たって音をたてさせるように吹く風。※万葉(8C後)三・二五七「天降(あも)りつく 天の香具山 霞立つ 春に至れば 松風(まつかぜ)に 池浪立ちて」② 薫物の名。種々の調合例がある。※五月雨日記(1479)「まつ風。〈略〉右の薫物の香、いにしへの侍従などやうにきこえ侍り。にほひすがりまであしからず」③ 干菓子の一つ。小麦粉を溶かして、厚く平たく焼き、表に砂糖の液をぬり、けし粒をつけたもの。※雑俳・柳多留‐五(1770)「自身番まつ風などの屑を買」④ 茶の湯で、茶釜の湯のにえたぎる音をいう。※雪国(1935‐47)〈川端康成〉「京出来の古い鉄瓶で、やはらかい松風の音がしてゐた」[2][一] 謡曲。三番目物。各流。古い能の「汐汲(しおくみ)」をもとにした観阿彌の原作を世阿彌が改作したという。「熊野(ゆや)」とともに女物の典型的作品。古名「松風村雨」。旅僧が須磨の浦を訪れ、汐汲車を引きながら塩屋にもどってきた二人の海人(あま)の少女に宿を請う。僧がこの暮れ方に在原行平の古跡の松を弔ったことを語ると、二人は涙を流して自分たちは行平に愛された松風・村雨という海女の霊だとあかし、当時の有様を語る。そのうちに松風は恋慕のあまり狂気して、行平の形見の烏帽子狩衣(えぼしかりぎぬ)をつけて舞を舞う。[二] 能「松風」に基づく歌謡、舞踊、戯曲などの通称。① 富本。松井由輔作詞。名見崎喜惣治作曲。本名題「徒髪恋曲者(いたずらがみこいはくせもの)」。寛政八年(一七九六)江戸桐座初演。のち、一部は清元に移調された。② 地唄。生田流。元祿(一六八八‐一七〇四)ころの芝居唄作者岸野次郎三作曲。佐渡島伝八作詞。三下り。[三] 箏曲。山田流。明治初年に三世山木大賀・初世中能島松声作曲。四国伊達家の息女が夫に死別してもどってきたのを慰めるために作られた琴(銘は松風)にちなんだもの。[四] 「源氏物語」第一八帖の巻名。源氏三一歳の秋。明石上が上洛して大井の山荘にはいる。源氏の明石上訪問がやっと実現するが、紫上は嫉妬(しっと)する。しかし、明石姫君を紫上の養女とする計画には紫上は喜んで賛成することなどを中心に描く。
