A town in Nakagawa-gun, Hokkaido. Adjacent to Obihiro City, it is mostly flat land. The Nemuro Main Line runs through it. It produces beans, potatoes, sugar beets, wheat, etc. An industrial complex has been established, and residential development is also progressing.
