This hot spring is located in the western part of Noheji Town in eastern Aomori Prefecture. It is a gypsum spring with a temperature of 30-37°C. It springs up at the northern foot of Mt. Eboshi in the Ou Mountains, and was discovered around 1822 (Bunsei 5). It was a therapeutic hot spring resort also known as Tsuru no Yu, but in 1964 a modern hot spring hotel opened. 青森県東部,野辺地(のへじ)町の西部にある温泉。セッコウ泉,30~37℃。奥羽山脈の烏帽子(えぼし)岳北麓にわき,1822年(文政5)ころ発見され,鶴の湯ともよばれた湯治場であったが,1964年に近代的な温泉ホテルが開館した。烏帽子岳に野辺地スキー場がある。【横山 弘】
