Japanese: 沓手鳥孤城落月 - ほととぎすこじょうのらくげつ

A play and kabuki piece. Three acts, six scenes. Tsubouchi Shoyo's third historical drama. Published in Shinshosetsu in September 1897. It premiered in May 1905 at the Osaka Kadoza Theater, with Kataoka Nizaemon XI playing the dual roles of Yodo-dono and Katagiri Katsumoto. In March 1906, it was performed at the Tokyo Theater by Ichikawa Ennosuke (Katsumoto) and Nakamura Shikan (later Nakamura Utaemon V, Yodo-dono), and the hysterical Yodo-dono continued to be Utaemon's signature role, and was performed independently in scenes such as the "Hosikura" scene.

戯曲，歌舞伎作品。3幕6場。坪内逍遙の史劇第3作目。 1897年9月『新小説』に発表。 1905年5月大阪角座で 11世片岡仁左衛門が淀君，片桐且元二役で初演。翌 06年3月東京座で，市川猿之助 (且元) ，中村芝翫 (のち5世中村歌右衛門，淀君) らが上演，ヒステリーの淀君は以後も歌右衛門の持ち役となって，「糒庫 (ほしいぐら) の場」など独立して演じられる。
