False labor pains

…Originally, it refers to uterine contractions during labor. However, irregular and weak uterine contractions occur during pregnancy, so they are called pregnant pains or false pains, and labor pains after labor is called after pains. Labor pains are caused by regular uterine contractions that gradually become stronger as labor progresses. At first, they occur about six times an hour (10-minute cycles) and the duration of the contractions (attacks) is about 20 to 30 seconds, but as the fetus approaches delivery, the cycle becomes 2 to 3 minutes and the attacks last about 60 to 120 seconds. Moreover, as the contraction force becomes stronger, and at the same time, pushing (abdominal pressure) is naturally added, this is called co-compression labor pains. …

…本来は分娩中の子宮収縮のことをいう。しかし妊娠中にも不規則で弱い子宮収縮が起こるので，これを分娩時の分娩陣痛に対して妊娠陣痛pregnant painsまたは偽陣痛false painsといい，分娩終了後の陣痛を後陣痛after painsという。分娩陣痛labor painsは分娩の進行とともにしだいに強くなる規則正しい子宮収縮によって起こるもので，はじめは1時間に6回くらいの頻度(周期10分)で収縮の持続時間(発作)は20～30秒くらいであるが，胎児娩出に近づくにつれて，周期は2～3分，発作は60～120秒くらいとなり，しかも収縮力が強まると同時に，いきみ(腹圧)が自然に加わるようになると，これを共圧陣痛という。…
