A Chinese treatise from the end of the Sui dynasty. Compiled by Yu Shinan. 160 volumes. Compiled during the Daye period (605-616). 19 sections on emperors, queens, etc. are further divided into 815 categories, each of which contains quotations from ancient texts. Notes were added by Kong Guangtao of the Qing dynasty. It is the oldest surviving treatise, and is considered an important resource for the study of Chinese classics, along with the Yiwen Ruiju and Chugakuki.
