Funayurei are also called Nada-yurei (Nada ghost), Isogurei (Island ghost), Umi-yurei (Sea ghost), Mayoi-bune (Mayoi ship), Yoi-yoi-bune (Yoi-yoi ship), Gyoja-bune (Ghost ship), and Yōrei-bune (Ghost ship). This is because many of them appear on ships, and sometimes a mysterious fire that clings to a ship and cannot be separated is also called a funayurei (Funayurei)....
