Mu Chuchū (English spelling)

Chinese businessman. His real name was Xiang Yue, and his pen name was Guo Chu. He was from Shanghai and returned to Japan in 1914 after studying in the United States. In 1914, he founded the Deda Cotton Factory in Shanghai, in 1916 the Health Cotton Factory, and in 1919 the Yufeng Cotton Factory in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. In 1920, he established the Huashang Cotton Trading Post in Shanghai, serving as its director. He was also involved in activities to improve the quality of cotton and promote scientific management in spinning factories. [Kawai Satoru]
