Horyakukanki

Japanese: 保暦間記 - ほうりゃくかんき

A book that critiques history from the Hogen Rebellion (1156) to the Ryakuo era (1338-42). Five volumes. The author is unknown, but it is likely a samurai who participated in the wars of the Northern and Southern Courts period. It was written in the mid-14th century. There are also some valuable articles scattered throughout the book about the internal conflicts of the shogunate in the late Kamakura period. The book of the same name published by Oze Hoan is a revised version to which Hoan added Neo-Confucian criticism. It is included in Gunsho Rui Jugun.

保元の乱 (1156) 以降，暦応年間 (1338～42) までの間の歴史を評論した書。5巻。作者は不明だが，南北朝時代の戦乱に加わった武家であろうか。 14世紀中頃の作。鎌倉時代後期の幕府内部の争いについては，貴重な記事が点在する。なお，小瀬甫庵刊の同名の書物は，甫庵が朱子学的な評論を加えた改作本。『群書類従群』に所収。
