〘noun〙① A receipt. A receipt. In the Nara and Heian periods, when documents or books were submitted to government offices, they were accepted if there were no errors, and the certificate of receipt issued at that time was often called the receipt certificate. Also, if the documents or books were accompanied by the delivery of goods or money, the number was checked, so it also meant a receipt for goods or money, and later, this nature gradually became stronger. [Ryo Gikai (718)]② A certificate. A guarantee. ※Azuma Kagami - March 26, 1186 (Bun'ji 2) " The decree recites the name of Mida Treasure, and the number of copies is sent out and the documents are returned , and the documents are used and completed ."
