Oil well - Yusei

Japanese:
Oil well - Yusei

A well drilled to extract oil. The world's first oil well was drilled in Pennsylvania, USA, in 1859 by Drake. The oil reservoirs developed have become deeper, and now oil wells are being dug to depths of over 5,000 meters. Once the drilling of the well is complete, a casing is inserted and a cementing process is carried out to pressurize the well with cement around the casing. This is to prevent water from the water layer above the oil reservoir from flowing into the oil well or oil reservoir. In particular, if water from the water layer flows into the oil reservoir, the oil outflow surface will be blocked, shortening the life of the oil well. The oil flows out to the surface through the tubing. A bean is attached to the top end of the tubing to adjust the amount of oil produced.

The packer is a blocking device installed between the tubing and the casing, which allows the oil in the casing to flow into the tubing .
