Peronismo (English spelling)

Japanese: ペロニスモ（英語表記）Peronismo

An Argentine political movement named after its founder, J.D. Peron. The movement was born out of popular support for the pro-labor policies put forward by Peron, who was the leading leader of the military coup of June 4, 1943. Its basic policy line is social justice, economic independence, and independent foreign policy. It is also called Justicialismo (Justicialism) because of its particular emphasis on social justice. It is considered a typical example of Latin American populism in that it aims for nationalistic reforms, opposes communism, has a charismatic leader (Peron until his death in 1974), and has a multi-class support base that includes workers and the middle class.

アルゼンチンの政治運動で，創始者J.D.ペロンにちなみ，こう呼ばれている。1943年6月4日，軍事クーデタの有力指導者だったペロンの打ち出した親労働者政策が大衆の支持を受けたことから生まれた運動で，社会正義，経済的自立，自主外交を基本的な政策路線としている。とくに社会正義を強調することから，正道主義(フスティシアリスモJusticialismo)とも呼ぶ。民族主義的な改革を志向して共産主義に反対し，カリスマ的リーダー(1974年に没するまではペロン)を擁し，支持基盤が労働者や中間層など多階級的な点において，ラテン･アメリカのポプリスモの典型例とみなされている。
