〘Noun〙 (peppermint)⸨Peppermint⸩① A cultivated perennial plant of the Lamiaceae family. 30-90cm tall. Overall hairless. Egg-lanceolate or lanceolate leaves grow in pairs. The flowers resemble those of peppermint, but they do not produce seeds and do not grow wild. Widely cultivated for their fragrance and refreshing properties, the term also refers to the peppermint oil refined from them.
