A school of linguistics formed in the mid-1920s by V. Matthesius and R. Jakobson. Also known as the Prague School of Linguistics or the Phonological School. Journals: Language and Literature, TCLP. Members included Trubetzkoy, Mukazhovsky, and Bogatyrev.
