Tinocladia crassa (English name)

A brown algae of the family Choranaceae. It grows on rocks in the lower intertidal zone where the waves are calm. It is 1-3 mm thick, somewhat irregularly branched, and can reach a total length of 15 cm. It is found in various places except Hokkaido. 褐藻類ナガマツモ目ナガマツモ科の海藻。波の静かな潮間帯下部の岩石に着生する。太さ1～3mm，多少不規則に分岐し，全長 15cmに及ぶ。北海道を除く諸所に分布する。
