This archaeological site is located across Tsutsumi, Kamimine Village, Miyaki County, Saga Prefecture, and Higashiyama, Higashisefuri Village, Kanzaki County, and is one of the few burial sites where the entire area from the early to late Yayoi period has been confirmed. It is located on a branch of the mountain range at an altitude of 40 to 50 meters, almost in the center of the hill known as Futatsukayama, which extends from the southern foot of the Sefuri Mountains and juts out into the center of the Saga Plain, and covers an area of approximately 3,000 m2. Excavations conducted from February 1975 to July 1976 revealed the remains of 159 jar coffin tombs, 89 pit tombs, 6 stone coffin tombs, and 8 burial and ritual sites, which are arranged along the back of the hill in an area 140 meters long and 20 meters wide, showing the transition of eras.
