…At the same time, Hailing County was established here, and although it was abolished for a time, it continued to exist until the Yuan Dynasty. When the Jin Dynasty crossed into Jiangnan, the development of the delta on the north bank of the Yangtze River progressed, and as people began to live east of Hailing, Hailing County was established. It became Wuzhou during the Tang Dynasty, and was renamed Taizhou during the Southern Tang Dynasty of the Five Dynasties.
