An appendix added by the Greek historian and philosopher Arrian to his work The Campaign of Alexander. It contains Indian geography, history, and a record of the voyage of the Macedonian fleet under the command of Alexander the Great's admiral Nearchus from the mouth of the Indus River to the mouth of the Tigris River (around 326-325 BC). It is a valuable document, as it draws on information such as Admiral Nearchus' report and Megasthenes' travelogue of India.
