A great epic poem written by Tulsidas, a Vaishnavite poet of Rama worship. The title literally means "The lake of Rama (son)'s deeds." It is a large epic poem based on the Awadhi dialect of Hindi, which is distributed in northern India, and consists of seven parts, about 10,000 verses, with a basic form of a combination of several four-line verses and one verse couplet. It is said to have been started in Ayodhya in 1574 and completed a few years later in Kashi (now Varanasi). The formation of this epic poem was influenced by previous ideas and documents, but the structure and development of the story are largely based on the Sanskrit epic poem Ramayana, and the ideological support is largely based on the Adhyatma Rāmāyaṇa, which takes the position of Vedanta philosophy.
