A colloquial name for the Brazilian Integralista Brasileira (AIB), a fascist party in Brazil in the 1930s. It was founded in 1932 by Plínio Salgado (1895- ), a journalist from São Paulo. Salgado aimed to Brazilianize Italian Fascism and Catholicize it, and aimed to build an organic, class-based nation with the mottos "God, Fatherland, Family" and "Order and Progress."
