Piperazine

Hexahydropyrazine. C ₄ H ₁₀ N ₂ (86.14). Obtained by reducing pyrazine with sodium and alcohol. Plate crystals. Melting point 104 °C, boiling point 145 °C. K _b1 9 × 10 ^-15 , K _b2 4 × 10 ^-9 . Easily soluble in water and ethanol. A strong base, it absorbs carbon dioxide from the air. Its salts with phosphoric acid, tartaric acid, and adipic acid are used as anthelmintics for animals, and as detection reagents for antimony, bismuth, and gold. Store in a tightly sealed container, protected from light. [CAS 110-85-0]

hexahydropyrazine．C₄H₁₀N₂(86.14)．ピラジンをナトリウムとアルコールとで還元すると得られる．板状晶．融点104 ℃，沸点145 ℃．K_b1 9×10^－15，K_b2 4×10^－9．水，エタノールに易溶．強塩基で，空気中の二酸化炭素を吸収する．リン酸，酒石酸，アジピン酸との塩は動物用駆虫剤であり，また，アンチモン，ビスマス，金の検出試薬として使われる．遮光，密栓して保存する．[CAS 110-85-0]
