A collection of essays by Joruri puppeteer Chikamatsu Hanji. Published by Yamada Ubei in 1787 (Tenmei 7). Published after Hanji's death. Commentary and postscripts by Sorodo and Joruri puppeteer Kijo Taro. The text was published in Nishizawa Ippu's Denki Sakusho. A complete reprint is by Yoshinaga Takao in On the Reprinting of Chikamatsu Hanji's Dokusanji. A copy of Hanji Gensei Anshin-ki, with more or less the same content, has been passed down to his descendants, the Hozumi family, and has also been reprinted. Discussing the existence of gods and Buddhas, and the beginning of the creation of heaven and earth, the book is a humorous, self-deprecating account of a man who, while dissatisfied with Confucian realism, is unable to readily accept the Buddhist view of the afterlife, and who ultimately becomes immersed in the everyday without thoroughly considering his problems.

浄瑠璃作者近松半二著の随想。1787年(天明7)山田卯兵衛版。半二の没後に刊行。疎懶堂，浄瑠璃作者紀上太郎らが叙，跋を寄せる。西沢一風《伝奇作書》に本文を掲載。完全翻刻としては吉永孝雄〈近松半二《独判断》の翻刻に当って〉がある。大同小異の内容を持つ《半二現世安心記》写本が子孫の穂積家に伝えられ，翻刻もある。神仏の有無，天地開闢の初めなどについて論じ，儒教の現実主義に不満を覚えながら，仏教の来世観にも素直に従えず，結局徹底的考察をもって悩みを解決することなく，日常性の中に埋没していく姿を，自嘲的な戯文で綴る。
