Silver coins minted in 1619 (Genwa 5) for use within the whole of Sado. As Sado was a major producer of silver, they needed to produce current silver to prevent the theft of high-grade silver. They were made of 60% high-grade silver mixed with 40% copper and lead, and stamped with Toku, Tsu, Sada, and In at the Kimeshiyo. The market price in the city was about 62 momme per ryo. The first ones minted were 800 kan, and by the time of the Keian era they had reached 1,926 kan, but they were abolished in 1761 (Horeki 11) and Bungin came into use.
