Pandekten - Pandekten (English spelling) German

Japanese: パンデクテン - ぱんでくてん(英語表記)Pandekten ドイツ語
Pandekten - Pandekten (English spelling) German
The German word for the Digesta (Greek: Pandectae), a major part of the Corpus Juris Juris, was used in modern times as the term Pandektenrecht, referring to modern law that developed on the basis of the Pandecten.
[Modern usage of Pandekten]
The "adoption of Roman law" in Germany did not begin in earnest until the mid-15th century, and the Roman law that was adopted (the Corpus Juris Civilis, in a form academically processed by medieval Italian jurisprudence) came to be used as common law, Gemeines Recht, that is, common law throughout the entire territory of Germany.

[パンデクテンの現代的慣用]
 ドイツにおける〈ローマ法の継受〉が本格的に進行するのは15世紀中葉以降のことであるが,継受されたローマ法(中世イタリア法学によって学問的に加工された形でのローマ法大全)は普通法Gemeines Recht,すなわちドイツの全領域に共通の法として通用することになった。
