Hand grenade - shuryudan (English spelling) hand grenade

A type of thrown weapon, it is a weapon in which an explosive or chemical agent is filled into a metal body, which is ignited and thrown towards the enemy to explode in order to kill or injure personnel or destroy structures. There are two types of ignition: impact and friction. With the safety removed, the impact type ignites the fuse at the head with a hammer, either manually or by the elasticity of a spring, which then ignites the delaying fuse and the grenade is thrown towards the enemy by hand. The throwing distance is about 40-60 meters. The ignited fuse ignites the detonator for igniting the propellant in 6-8 seconds, causing an instantaneous explosion. With friction type grenades, a string is pulled to ignite the friction fuse before throwing. Fragmentation grenades for killing or injuring personnel have cuts made in the body of the grenade to be fragmented, increasing the fragmentation effect. These include high explosive grenades, chemical gas grenades, smoke bombs, incendiary bombs, flash bombs, and acoustic bombs.
