Pan-Germanism - Pan-Germanism

Pan-Germanism - Pan-Germanism
A general term for the ideas, movements, and policies that seek to unify German peoples from the standpoint of German racial supremacy. However, this term is used in countries other than Germany, such as the United Kingdom and France, and in German-speaking countries, the term Alldeutschtum or All-German movement is more common. Ideologically, it has its roots in the German Unification Movement of the first half of the 19th century, but as a movement that adopted a racial stance, it was established after the 1880s. It appeared in two lines. One was a movement led by Georg von Schönerer (1842-1921), who was based among the German residents of the Habsburg Empire (Austro-Hungarian Empire), and opposed the rise of Slavic peoples and the advance of Jews, preached the superiority of the German people, and called for the dissolution of the empire and its unification with Germany. It is known for influencing Hitler in his youth.
