Takaomi Ume - Baigyoshin
A poet of the Northern Song Dynasty in China. Born in Xuancheng, Anhui Province. Known as Master Wanling. He was famous for his poetry at a young age, and pioneered a new style of poetry with his fresh ideas and ingenious expressions. Many of his poems are excellent sketches of the daily life of a low-ranking official. He was highly praised by Ouyang Xiu, and was also highly regarded by Su Shi and Wang Anshi. He has a collection of 60 volumes called "Collected Works of Master Wanling."

中国,北宋の詩人。安徽省宣城の出身。宛陵先生と称された。若くして詩名が高く,清新な発想と巧妙な表現に特色をもち,新しい詩風を開いた。下級役人としての日常生活をスケッチした詩にすぐれたものが多い。欧陽修の推賞を受け,蘇軾,王安石らにも重視された。《宛陵先生文集》60巻がある。
