Agricultural management - nougyoukeiei

Japanese: 農業経営 - のうぎょうけいえい

It refers to an independent decision-making unit that carries out agricultural production and its management and operational activities. More strictly speaking, the former is agricultural management structure and the latter is agricultural management, and both are generally included in the term agricultural management.

Agricultural management structures vary historically and geographically, and take various forms and gender disparities, such as differences between primitive subsistence farming, small peasant family farms, capitalist company farms, socialist state farms or collective farms, small part-time farms or recreational farms, or between intensive small-scale rice farming and extensive dry land farming, and large-scale land-use agriculture and institutional/processing agriculture.
