A rockfill dam (completed in 1980) built on the Bakhsh River in Tajikistan, with a height of 300m, a crest length of 704m, and a dam volume of 58.9 million m3. It was the first dam in the world to reach a height of 300m, and was the tallest in the world until the completion of Rogun Dam (Tajikistan, height 325m), whose construction was started based on research from this dam. The reservoir has a total storage capacity of 10.5 billion m3 and a usable depth of 53m, and is used for power generation with a maximum output of 2.7 million kW, irrigation, and navigation. It was originally scheduled for completion in 1975, but was significantly delayed due to worsening economic conditions, and part of the power plant began operation in 1976.

タジキスタンのバフシ川に建設された高さ300m，堤頂長704m，堤体積5890万m3のロックフィルダム(1980年完成)。世界で初めて300m台の高さに達したダムで，このダムでの研究を踏まえて工事を開始したログン･ダム(タジキスタン，高さ325m)が完成するまで世界最高。貯水池は総貯水量105億m3，利用水深53mで，最大出力270万kWの発電や，灌漑，舟航に利用される。当初は1975年に完成予定であったが，経済事情悪化によって大幅に遅延し，76年に発電所の一部が運転を始めた。
