Nukabira [Hot Spring] - Nukabira

Japanese: 糠平[温泉] - ぬかびら

This hot spring is located in Kamishihoro Town, Tokachi Subprefecture, eastern Hokkaido. Simple spring, 38-60°C. It is located on high ground on the southwest shore of Lake Nukabira, with a good view of the lake. When the inn was opened in the Taisho era, it was a hot spring in the forest, but it developed rapidly after Nukabira Station on the National Railway Shihoro Line was opened in 1937 and Lake Nukabira, a reservoir lake created by the Nukabira Dam, was completed in 1956 (the Shihoro Line was converted into a bus route in 1987). National Route 273 runs towards Sounkyo, and a highway also runs towards Lake Shikaribetsu, and in winter it is a popular base for skating on Lake Nukabira and for the nearby National Nukabira Ski Resort.

北海道東部，十勝支庁上士幌町にある温泉。単純泉，38～60℃。糠平湖の南西畔の高台にあり，湖の見晴しがよい。大正年間に湯宿が開かれたころは森の中の温泉であったが，国鉄士幌線糠平駅が1937年開設され，56年糠平ダムのダム湖である糠平湖が完成し急速に発展した(士幌線は1987年，バス路線に変換)。層雲峡方面へ国道273号線，然別（しかりべつ）湖方面へも自動車道が通じ，冬季は糠平湖でのスケートや近くの国設糠平スキー場の基地としてにぎわう。
