Published by Genbunsha, later Ningensha. Founded in November 1919 by Satomi Ton, Kume Masao, Yoshii Isamu, Tanaka Jun and others, it showed an editorial tendency to place emphasis on individuality and hobbies, in opposition to the socialist climate of the time. It ceased publication in June 1922. [2] A literary magazine. Published by Kamakura Bunko, and later Meguro Shoten. Founded in January 1946 by Kume Masao, Kawabata Yasunari, Takami Jun and others, it contributed to the revival of modern Japanese literature after World War II and the introduction of new writers. It ceased publication in August 1951.
