This was the representative literary magazine (1908-41) that had the greatest influence on the Hungarian literary revolution. The name of the magazine means "West." Until 1929, it was edited by Osvát Erno (1876 to 1878-1929), then by Moritz Z., Babić, and Gellért Oszkár (1882-1967), and after Moritz left in 1933, the above two took the lead in editing. The editorial policy was to provide a forum for all literary works appropriate to the era and of a certain standard, and to introduce Western literature, as the name suggests.
